SWEBOAT, the Swedish Marine Industries Federation, is the industry’s representative organisation with around 400 member companies. Our main task is to promote and protect common industry interests and to make it easier to work and operate in the leisure boating industry. But we also strive to make it easy, safe and a positive experience to own a boat and enjoy boat life.

We work actively to promote the importance and role of the industry and boating in society. We create venues for boating and the industry. These range from trade fairs, industry meetings and meetings with politicians to hands-on activities, instructional videos and training courses.

We also work on industry and boating sustainability issues with the environment as the main focus. The entire life cycle of a boat should be sustainable, from manufacture, sale, use and scrapping.
